Now that Picasa/Blogger seems to be fixed...

So I love Picasa. It's Google's photo cataloging program. It integrates with everything nicely...especially Blogger.com which is how this whole thing got started. Then a while back, Google bought Blogger.com and everything got screwed up with the automatic posting through Picasa. The procedure to post anything was so long and involved, we had to suffer through a lack of Sam pictures. I'm surprised you all made it this long frankly. The glitch seems to be fixed, so now you're in trouble.

I recently bought a new computer and decided to make it the sole archiving spot for all my pictures. So I archived to DVD (remember the good old days when you archived all your files to a 3.5" floppy?) all the pictures from both the "old" computers and then imported them onto the new computer. Get ready for this. 4 DVD's (at 5.8GB each). Over 4800 pictures. And this is only since Sam was born. Sam is three. I repeat, Sam is three. That's 1095 days folks. So I've got an average of 4.38 pictures A DAY of Sam since he was born. And that doesn't include anything my Mom has (which probably dwarfs my collection!).

So for his third birthday, hmm, let's see, we had drinking and flying. And some presents (thankfully, not pictured!).

A blonde moment for Sam.

And there's the drinking I mentioned.

Now Sam's revving up for his first flight.

And, oh my god there he goes! Off into the wild blue yonder...or something.

Scary gang

So Sam was hangin with his homeys tonight while they looted the neighborhood. We had an infant Spider, Bob the Builder, a poor sad-sap Redskins fan, a Vampire, and a Princess. Quite a crowd.

Sam, after he heard that every house would now be handing out candy to anyone who rang the bell and said "trick or treat!":

"You mean, all I have to do is say trick or treat and they give me candy?"
"Yes, Sam, that's true."
"Suckers!!!!"

Almond what?

Hey, who snuck this candy into my Halloween bucket? I only asked for carrots and celery. I don't need any stinking Almond Joy bar!

I'm returning this puppy.

Halloween

Even after last week's game though, you can't stop a true fan for long...we've already endured a decade of futility! Sam doesn't know it yet, but his misery might only just be beginning!

Hanging with Bob the Builder...I mean Solomon. It's hard to tell the difference!

Hey! New content!

On Sunday the Redskins faced off against the Patriots.

This was before the game:

This was after the game:

The final score was 52-7. Our expressions don't begin to recount the misery of it all!

Sam's big boat ride

On Sam's first boat trip he learned an important life lesson: Sunglasses Rule! (Unless you're Jill and you're trying to hide from a dolphin!)

We'd been trying to get Sam to wear sunglasses for the last year because he just looks so freakin cool in them! But no, he didn't like it. Then we get out on the boat and he says, "It's too sunny. I need my glasses."

And now he's Joe Cool. Even Snoopy would be envious.

The gang

It's the whole gang down in Florida, just chillin out and making sure the sand doesn't go anywhere. It was a difficult job.

More dolphin fun!

First, Molly takes a tow.

Then Maddie joins in the fun.

Jill tries to hide, but the dolphin finds her anyway. Dolphins are very smart. Not even sunglasses can fool them.

Cool stuff!

Don't click this link unless you have a lot of time on your hands!! I mean, in the top row alone you've got The Ministry of Silly Walks, The Dead Parrot, and the Argument Clinic! Don't say you haven't been warned.

And a bonus time waster...

Q) What do you call the person who graduated last in medical school?

A) Doctor!

Industrial Accident

So we finally got him interested in his BIG TRUCK DADDY! And he spent half an hour pushing his juice around the driveway in it.

And then....CRASH....big accident!
